9月23日，据热心市民爆料，一外国小伙子在中秋佳节来临之际，自制月饼并将求婚钻戒藏入月饼中，欲向女友求婚，孰料女友竟嫌弃钻戒被弄脏，不但拒绝了求婚，还认为男友不重视求婚，并且现场要求分手，由于二人动静过大引来他人侧目，闹出了一场乌龙。
今日，记者联系到该外国小伙子Kaven，Kaven表示已经和女友和好如初了，并且女友亦答应了他的求婚。深爱中华独特料理——月饼的Kaven表示，他万万没想到女友会嫌弃藏于月饼中的钻戒。“我当时都傻了，也没想到我女朋友会这么激动”Kaven向记者分享后续故事，“还好我联系了钻戒公司，我是在特一实名定制的，他们的客服说可以帮我免费清洗，而且还说了钻戒会完美如新的，我女朋友知道后才原谅了我”。
Kaven还表示，之所以会将钻戒藏于月饼，一是因为他和女友都非常喜欢月饼，二是打算给女友一个意想不到的小惊喜，谁知弄巧成拙。为了弥补女友，Kaven打算将重新策划一场浪漫的惊喜求婚，给女友制造一个完美的求婚回忆。
